This bandanna of the Four Flowers: of Guåhan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan and Palestine is a fundraiser to support Såhi and their child’s trip back to Guåhan in December 2025 as well as fundraising efforts in solidarity with Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan and Palestine mutual aid collective work.

  • Karkadé - Hibiscus Sabdariffa, an important cultural and agricultural crop for small farmers in Sudan where every part of the plant is used with purpose for ceremony, medicine and nourishment. (source: @itschinwosu)

  • Protea Gaguedi - African Sugarbush, to honor the Democractic Republic of Congo. This flower is also used in wider East Africa and South Africa for traditional medicine for tumors, diarrhea, heavy menstrual bleeding, urinary health.

  • Faqqu’a Iris - Iris Haynei, a rare and endemic flower that grows mostly in the hills of Faqqu’a in Palestine. In 2016, the Palestinian Authority declared the Faqqu’a iris the national flower of Palestine.

  • Nånasu - Half Flower is an Indigenous flower of Guåhan and the Mariånas. The nånasu’s fruit juice can be used as eye drops to soothe inflammation as well as medicine to increase a baby’s appetite
